ESOL Quilt Art Attack 2010

Here is our fabulous quilt. Each child designed their own panel using fabric from their culture. They then sewed the fabric pieces onto a piece of calico. Once their panels were completed the quilt was pinned and constructed. The children then sewed on buttons to keep everything together.
They are all very proud of their finished work of art.

Still Quilting

Our Art Attack quilt is almost completed. Today we worked on the finishing touches. We will post more photos and comments on Monday.

Learn to Count in Samoan

I made this chart using Kid Pix. It helps kids learn Samoan numbers.
I used green and purple because I have a cool game that uses these colours.
