ESOL Quilt Art Attack 2010
Here is our fabulous quilt. Each child designed their own panel using fabric from their culture. They then sewed the fabric pieces onto a piece of calico. Once their panels were completed the quilt was pinned and constructed. The children then sewed on buttons to keep everything together.
They are all very proud of their finished work of art.

ReplyDeletewhat great work, children here in England would not be allowed to use a sewing machine till they are 12 years old in schools i think its great that they learn all these skills at a young age
ReplyDeleteThanks Jackie. We all enjoyed having a go on Mrs Mac's sewing machine.
