Water, water everywhere...
As part of our topic study on 'Sustainability', we have been learning about the Water Cycle. We looked at some National Geographic Readers on Water as well as some great information that we found on the Internet. A favourite of all the children was the Water Cycle Song. They especially liked the catchy tune and even made up their own actions.
Today they worked together to put water cycle pictures and words into the right order. Great work team!

I haven't checked out your blog for a few weeks. You guys have been really busy. The ESOL kids at Te Wharau School have been doing research projects on dinosaurs and the Year 2 kids have been dressing up as Pirates, sailors, and princesses after we read the story I wish I had a Pirate Suit. We haven't got a blog yet ( Policy decisions !!) but I'll show them what you have been doing. Have a great holiday.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jackie. Hope you are enjoying the break. Great to hear about what your kids have been up to. Did you dress up as a princess or a pirate? We love dressing up at our school. Please keep in touch. We are looking forward to your blog.
